    More info:

Rock Band will debut exclusively on 360 with 84 songs on the disc which are all original master recordings, including Bob Dylan, AC/DC, Megadeath, Modest Mouse, and way more than we could list here (we'll update when we can). Plus all the DLC from the first game will be compatible, and most of the tracks from Rock Band 1can be ripped from the disc, meaning no disc swapping. All in all, that means that when Rock Band 2 launches it will have over 500 available tracks.

Re: Rockband 2 info and tracklist

I have to say Rock Band has to be the funnest game I have played on the 360.  This game is a great way to get your family involved in your addiction to xbox.

Our family loves to play this game and the other day had a chance to play with Bullockman over live.  Would be great if more of us had this, and could all rock out together.

Re: Rockband 2 info and tracklist

I agree with the family thing.  Dinorah actually sat down in front of the XBox for a little more than an hour and joined in while Caitlyn, Brandon and I played.

Correct me if I am wrong, the in-game voice is through XBox chat, so if we had three of us join a room, we all couldn't chat at the same time.  I haven't done voice chat while playing, but I know we play the music really loud, so it might not work out very well.

You can just buy the game and use your current set.  Also read that there will be a strobe light and smoke system for the new version of Rockband. LOL.

    Re: Entire Rockband2 tracklist

I heard Fury say something last night that it would cost $5 to trasfer Rock Band downloads to Rock Band 2, however I was just reading something on xbox.com that the downloads will transfer automatically and without charge.

    Re: Entire Rockband2 tracklist

I saw the same thing about music transfer (auto-migrated).

I also thought that I read that the RB1 equipment will not work with RB2, I could be wrong.  That would suck.

Yes your downloaded songs will transfer to Rockband2.  It doesn't mention a fee. Proof is in the LINK

    Straight from rockband website.

Correct me if I am wrong, the in-game voice is through XBox chat, so if we had three of us join a room, we all couldn't chat at the same time.  I haven't done voice chat while playing, but I know we play the music really loud, so it might not work out very well.

you will be able to private chat with multiple people once the fall update comes out.

Thats cool you can chat with multiple people at the same time.  Always wonder why you couldn't do that anyway.

Re: Rockband 2 info and tracklist

Ok clarification on the fee for playing RB1 songs with RB2.  The fee pertains to the songs that are on the RB1 game cd.   To transfers songs from RB1 cd to your HDD will cost a small amount, like $5 is what I heard.
